Giving Tuesday: Success and Thanks

On behalf of our very grateful students, faculty, and staff, thank you for yet another record-breaking Giving Tuesday campaign.

While we are still calculating final numbers, we know that Tuesday's effort produced over 850 gifts, raising over $450,000 in donations and pledges for Â鶹ÊÓƵ!

In the coming weeks, the students, faculty, and staff will begin fulfilling their Giving Tuesday challenges—stay tuned for updates!

As we approach the season of Advent, let us allow this spirit of generosity to fill our hearts and continue to drive the Â鶹ÊÓƵ mission.

8:00 a.m. How do you Live the Mission? This Giving Tuesday, students are excited to help the Â鶹ÊÓƵ mission continue. They'll be engaging in a variety of activities throughout the day to show their appreciation and thanks. #LivetheMission this Giving Tuesday by keeping Â鶹ÊÓƵ tuition-free.
8:30 a.m. Â鶹ÊÓƵ students are enjoying the new learning possibilities presented by three new, state-of-the-art classrooms, provided by the generosity of the 2018 Parents Auction Challenge. The new classrooms feature wall-to-wall whiteboards, new desks and tables to promote communal learning, brand new projectors, and HVAC. 9:00 a.m. Love the alma mater? Want to hear your son’s voice join in with a chorus of his peers? Well now you can! 10:00 a.m. It’s time for a #GivingTuesday giveaway! In honor of his 47 years of service to Â鶹ÊÓƵ, we will be raffling journals signed by Dr. Tricamo to 47 Giving Tuesday donors of $250 or more by 12 p.m. Don’t miss out on this great chance to forever preserve a bit of Â鶹ÊÓƵ English history on your shelves! 11:00 a.m. Â鶹ÊÓƵ has seven priests on its staff this year! With their help, Daily Mass has returned! Members of the Jogues Society serve as lectors, Eucharistic ministers, and altar servers. 2:00 p.m. Uh-oh. It’s happened again. The Dean of Students caught you doing something you shouldn’t have, and now you have...JUG. Every Regian knows that Jug can ruin a student’s day. Which is why we’re giving you the chance to help out! This hour, you can buy a student out of JUG! For every donation of $20.19 or higher until 5 p.m., the Dean of Students has agreed to subtract 15 minutes from a student’s JUG sentence.
