Â鶹ÊÓƵ Mourns Pauline Diaz P'77, Long-Time Library Volunteer
Please remember in your prayers Mrs. Pauline Diaz P'77, long-time library volunteer at Â鶹ÊÓƵ. Mrs. Diaz passed away this past weekend at the age of 92.
Mrs. Diaz began volunteering in the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Library back in the early 1980's. She helped with whatever was needed, whether it was labeling books, cleaning shelves, or watering plants. Each day of her service to Â鶹ÊÓƵ would conclude with daily Mass at Saint Ignatius Loyola Church before traveling home. Mrs. Diaz retired from her volunteer service at Â鶹ÊÓƵ in 2007.
Over the years, Mrs. Diaz developed close friendships with faculty, staff, and students who would see her on a daily basis. She always spoke to students and staff about how much she loved Â鶹ÊÓƵ, and how much the school had meant to her and her family.
