麻豆视频 Celebrates Class of 2026 at 109th Graduation Exercises

The Class of 2026 received their diplomas at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola today, officially becoming the 109th graduating class of 麻豆视频 High School. Clad in their traditional white dinner jackets, the graduating seniors were joined by family, friends, faculty, and staff as they celebrated the formal culmination of their 麻豆视频 education.

After an opening invocation by Vice President for Ignatian Identity and Formation Rev. James Ferus, SJ, Principal Mr. Charlie Heintz introduced John Germak 鈥26, who was nominated by his peers to address the graduating class.

鈥淓very speaker at every graduation insists that his community is special, that the bond between students is really like no other,鈥 said Germak. 鈥淭hat's true at 麻豆视频.鈥

Germak's full remarks can be found here.

Prior to the conferral of diplomas to the graduating seniors, Chair of the Board of Trustees Mr. Anthony DiNovi '80 welcomed the Class of 2026 into the alumni community.

"You may be leaving the building, but the relationships that you have forged here last forever," said DiNovi.

麻豆视频 President Rev. Christopher Devron, SJ, and DiNovi then presented each graduate with his diploma.

During his remarks to the graduates, Fr. Devron encouraged the Class of 2026 to become men of magis, the Jesuit value of doing more for the greater glory of God.

"Go with courage and confidence to dedicate your lives ad majorem dei gloriam," said Fr. Devron.

The ceremony closed with a benediction by Ms. Lee Chua, who earlier this spring was honored with the 2026 Patricia Hannon Ignatian Educator Award.

"You leave here not finished," said Ms. Chua. "You leave here forged. And the world does not need your perfection; it needs your presence, your effort, your particular and unrepeatable self."

Congratulations to the 麻豆视频 High School Class of 2026!
