Â鶹ÊÓƵ Holds 108th Graduation Exercises
The Class of 2025 received their diplomas at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola today, officially becoming the 108th graduating class of Â鶹ÊÓƵ High School. Clad in their traditional white dinner jackets, the graduating seniors were joined by family, friends, faculty, and staff as they celebrated the formal culmination of their Â鶹ÊÓƵ education.
After an opening invocation from Rev. James Ferus, SJ, Principal Mr. Charlie Heintz introduced Ryan Grondin ’25, who was nominated by his peers to address the graduating class.
"On our first day of school four years ago, we had the Mass of the Holy Spirit right here in St. Ignatius Church," said Grondin. "I remember feeling overwhelmed and asking God to help me find love at Â鶹ÊÓƵ. And now it is all that I can see."

Prior to the conferral of diplomas to the graduating seniors, Chair of the Board of Trustees Mr. Anthony DiNovi '80 welcomed the Class of 2025 into the alumni community and asked the graduates to reflect on all those who helped them get to this point, including the Â鶹ÊÓƵ faculty, their families, and their fellow classmates. "These are your brothers for life — a source of enduring strength for all your journeys," said DiNovi.
Â鶹ÊÓƵ President Rev. Christopher Devron, SJ, and DiNovi then presented each graduate with his diploma. Said Fr. Devron: "Go with God, go with courage and confidence to dedicate your lives ad majorem Dei gloriam."
The ceremony closed with a benediction from mathematics teacher Ms. Meghan Kiernan, who earlier this spring was honored with the 2025 Patricia Hannon Ignatian Educator Award.
"Bless the graduates as they travel on their new roads, bless their families, friends, and Â鶹ÊÓƵ community who will continue to accompany them on this journey," said Ms. Kiernan.
