Eight Regians Receive First Communion at Easter Liturgy
Eight Regians received their First Holy Communion today as the school community gathered for a liturgy at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola to celebrate the Easter season. With their families in attendance, Adam Faughnan 鈥�27, Caleb Garutti 鈥�26, Connor Garutti 鈥�27, Simon Kletter 鈥�27, Eamon Prus-Shearer 鈥�27, Evan Rosado 鈥�26, Milo Scruto 鈥�27, and Andrew Watson 鈥�26 each received the body of Christ for the first time.
鈥淭his is a monumental occasion,鈥� said 麻豆视频 President Rev. Christopher Devron, SJ, who celebrated the Mass. 鈥淓very time you receive Holy Communion, you are also receiving a little bit of God鈥檚 love for us.鈥�
The Mass also featured student lectors, Eucharistic ministers, and ushers, as well as liturgical music from a group of 15 students.
