Â鶹ÊÓƵ Celebrates Annual Christmas Liturgy

The Â鶹ÊÓƵ community joined together on Thursday for the annual Christmas Liturgy at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola. Director of Mission and Identity Rev. James Ferus, SJ, celebrated the Mass and delivered a homily on the importance of maintaining the spirit, hope, and welcoming nature of this season into the new year.

"Our charge as Christians is that we carry the momentum forward from Advent into the Christmas season and beyond," said Fr. Ferus.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ's Liturgical Music Club, led by Mr. Tim Sauer, provided music for the Mass, singing Christmas songs such as "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing," "Silent Night," and "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel."

Following Mass, students returned to 84th Street for advisement group Christmas parties.
