To commence the start of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Centennial year, Rev. Philip G. Judge, S.J. '80 (President), Arthur T. Minson, Jr. '88 (Chairman, Centennial Gala Committee), and Peter Labbat '83 (Chairman, Â鶹ÊÓƵ Board of Trustees) will be joined by 12 students to ring the NYSE Closing Bell. Founded in 1914 by an anonymous benefactor and supported by the generosity of her family, its alumni and friends, Â鶹ÊÓƵ High School offers tuition-free Jesuit college preparatory education to Roman Catholic young men from the New York metropolitan area who demonstrate superior intellectual and leadership potential. REACH (Recruiting Excellence in Academics for Catholic High Schools) serves middle school boys in the New York City area who are Catholic, who are academically gifted and have leadership potential, and whose families demonstrate financial need. Designed as a three-year educational and leadership program, REACH prepares students to compete for scholarships at Â鶹ÊÓƵ, as well as at other top Catholic high schools in New York City.
